I found a neat smoked bbq place called smokey bones. I love their menu, my treat! It is a bbq place at Disney Orlando. The key to the great taste is 10+ hours of smoking the meat. It is rated as Orlando's best bbq restaurant.
The Contemporary Resort was prime, but I think the Theme Park view is a little overrated but nice to do once. We watched wishes from our room at night. I would recommend the Contemporary to anyone regardless of what room you sleep in. I enjoyed this resort more because it is one of the original resorts walt wanted. We could watch the train pull into the Main Street station, and could see all of Space Mountain. It was worth every penny as the Contemporary is my favorite wdw resort! I got a kick out of having our own private Monorail take us to the parks.
The arcade and food center are excellent. It was a lot of money and my for just one night, but what a night it was! You get off the elevator and you walk down the hallway with a fantastic view of the grand concourse. It is so convenient with a monorail station right at the resort and a short walk to Magic Kingdom. The view of the Magic Kingdom from the tower rooms is breathtaking. I have stayed at the Contemporary many times before and have always had a nice visit. The staff was very friendly about event help and directions. We like being close not like the north Orlando intownsuites.com places to stay.
