We liked staying close to the action
This is a really good area and we are so glad that we stayed at the Disney Swan. It is only about a three minute walk from the hotel lobby to our end of the boardwalk attractions. I would think staying at any one of these hotels is a big plus because of the music, restaurants, and bars to choose from.

This is one of those places that anyone new to Disney Orlando will want to go for sure. Yes, it is one of the hot-spots for Orlando nightlife that is family-friendly (kids to teens). Adults can indulge in their favorite cocktails, beer, wine, or champagne. At the same time the children can play games and watch those cool Disney entertainment shows. What a nice mix of pleasures.
