We love this secret little spot at the end of the area. It is not the big name beach areas like Clearwater, Miami, or Sanibel. However, it is just a good and very long, you can walk until you drop! Nice for a family day by the water.

Where are the top beaches in Manatee County?
Bradenton is very active and so entertaining for outdoor play, sightseeing, and public beaches. To the south is Longboat Key, very nice, but much more private and without much public beachfront. It is more focused on hotel guests and people staying at the island's condo resorts.

Banana Cabana Bar at Bradenton Beach
Good beach area to stay, long walks. Loads of beach bars here. I like the Banana Cabana Bar by the Cortez Bridge.
