Where is the best fishing in Ft. Myers?
This place is a big winner for fish because of all the uninhabited islands. The mangrove systems are just everywhere and overflowing with baitfish. Sanibel Island is only about 30% developed, so you can imagine the natural Marine life that are living and growing around the island. Same thing goes for Pine Island and Captiva.

It is so nice, this is one of the top places to launch in Florida. I like the ten thousand islands, there is a nice ramp area in Marco Island. That is more of a day trip excursion, since it takes over an hour to buzz down the interstate. Worth it, when you have time.
