Take your pick of a series of excellent public beach access spots along Ocean Boulevard. Just around the corner is Lake Roberts, a true joy to walk around which is on the banks of Spanish River Park. There is another on just south called Wyman Park, next to what is called Lake Wyman. These lakes are wide intercoastal waterways and are really salt based seawater. You can fish in these.
