Vacation flights into Key West are a dream come true and it is a beautiful trip flying in and out of and island paradise the views are great, I always enjoy flying to this tropical destination. Once you arrive it will cost you a few dollars to get yourself to the hotel. Taxis are waiting there at the airport, so during the day you should have no problem. Calling ahead for a ride is fine as well, try Five 6's Cabs at 305-296-6666. Since the island is small, expect only a five-minute ride or so to get to your hotel.

Flying into Key West Airport
Check baggage for Key West? No way! Doing so would mean an extra 30 minute wait at the airport, so I stopped checking bags years ago. Can’t break my wife Mary of the habit, though, so we usually have to deal with that 30 minute wait anyway, not to mention onerous baggage fees on most airlines.
