There is not a town in Florida that is more fun to explore on bicycles than the fabulous City of Key West. It is a requirement for us and we always bring our bicycles down on the back of our car. It is easy, since we come down from Southwest Florida. However, some friends of ours had some problems by locking the bicycles to a stop sign. That is a no-no here, one can only lock them to a bike rack. No trees, utility poles, benches, etc. Just an FYI for the Florida Keys bike enthusiasts.

Island Life is all about the Weather It is good that you aren't coming down this weekend also because it is going to be rainy and cold all weekend. Bicycle travel around Key West sticks when it rains, luckily it burns off quick.

Keep the Florida Keys Tourist Happy Marathon is a lot easier on the people that use bicycles. Perhaps the City of Key West needs to ease up just a little, since it is likely a tourist that does not know the rules. We love the city and all it offers. Trying that big party boat (Tortuga) again this weekend. Usually we get 5 or so pounds of fish fillets.
