Definitely take that the tour or you can't get much out of the museum and displays. Property Tour Guides do a nice job of explaining all about the history, plus there is a lot to see on the property. Everything is historic and gets you thinking about how much has changed in the city of Fort Myers over the years. Good shows, check the schedule.

Planning for Local Events to Do You mentioned the downtown Fort Myers area to explore a bit. Is that still on? Me your way or you my way? They do have the largest night-time parade in all of Florida here, Edison Night Parade. I went to the junior parade last weekend, and even that was great.

Easily Worth the Ticket Price The historically old homes by the water are fully restored now, they are open and you get to look into the rooms and see the scene. These guys were rich, and lived like a president.
