Great Places to Visit!
ESTERO HOLIDAY INN
Brittle Starfish on the Fort Myers Beach Shoreline
Staying close to Lovers Key State Park was a good idea. It takes just a few minutes to bicycle the sidewalk down to the park. We saw all kinds of neat things behind the hotel, the sealife and beach shells are everywhere. Head north on bikes and the beach bars are a couple of miles up. Easy to bike everywhere, the car was not needed at all.

Where is the best Fort Myers Beach Hotel?
So cute is it to be on the shore and find stuff! Thank for pointing that out. We love the location and you can walk or bike to lovers key park from the hotel.

Pathway System needed like Clearwater Beach
The thing that Fort Myers Beach is missing is a really nice bicycle path, kind of like what they have at Clearwater Beach. Fort Lauderdale Beach has the same thing, and it makes everything shine since pedestrian friendly access to the beach is what everybody likes. A big path to run from Times Square, all the way past the Holiday Inn, and on to Lovers Key and Bonita Beach.

Try to leave the Sealife Alone
The Estero Island Holiday Inn is a good pick. I like this area, plus Captiva, Bonita, Sanibel, and Marco Island. Take your pick and just go for the cheapest hotel. All is nice, plenty to do. Great shorelines, and brittle starfish too! We do not pick them up, just look and do not mess with.
