This island is just perfect for scooter travel, and we rent them on each trip. We a buzz past the southernmost point tribute buoy all the time, and have never seen it empty, without visitors out front. The panoramic ocean views are great. All day long and into the evening people come here, it's a requirement for all visitors to the city of Key West! It is part of all the tours, trolley rides, and sightseeing buses.

Anything on the ocean is perfect for me! Certain parts of the city are a mandatory stop and take a look. The hotel we picked for this trip (Casa Marina) is not that far from here and the southernmost deli is fantastic, right here on South Street.
