Beachside Hotel on Sanibel-Captiva Island

Here is the Sanibel hotel we are going to stay at this weekend. The hotel looks really nice. They have a pool with a pool bar that serves food and drinks. West Wind also has tennis, shuffle board (which I love to play), and a butterfly garden. The hotel is right on the beach, on the far end aiming to Captiva Island.

Pool View or Ocean View?
Choose the pool view over the beach view, as the nature blocks the view. You can see all the action around the pool, so second floor pool view is the way to go.

So glad we got a beachside room
The hotel rooms have a screened porch too so we can keep our bikes locked on the porch. A nice little porch is great for letting the towels dry and having drinks at night. And coffee in the morning with a view!
