What is the Best Restaurant for Dining on Sanibel Island?

Q: Ah! good deal, maybe now I will understand. We are so much looking forward to doing some boating and hitting the beaches in Lee County. We are staying in Sanibel Island on our vacation, and need some advice on a really good restaurant/bar to add to the itinerary. Where do you suggest we go for a some food and fun on the island? A good helper is good to have.

A: A very good one there. You should try a Sanibel Island Establishment that has superb cuisine, with a full bar, and has gourmet finger foods! That spot is Doc Ford's Sanibel Rum Bar and Grill, at 975 Rabbit Road, Sanibel Island Florida 33957 (239-472-8311). The Tropical Salad and Rock Shrimp is just the perfect healthy island feast. A little knowledge helps.
