Your condominium villa is nestled away deep within Amelia Island Plantation Resort, where your biggest concern is what to bring down to the pool! A little poolside planning can determine which activity is next. In Fernandina Beach...tennis, golf, bicycling, sightseeing, and shopping are on the top of the list.

Everyone will love the pools, the ocean, and the water sports. But, even when you head back to your room, you are not disappointed. Inside, the Villas of Amelia provide a nice mix of resort styled accommodations for a relaxing Florida beach vacation. Umm, which one to choose, the Amelia Inn or the Villas of Amelia!

EAT. After a hard day hanging by the beach, you are going to need some dinner. We really liked Sliders Seaside Grill (1998 South Fletcher Avenue) for a casual meal. You can chow very nicely at the upscale spot called The Grill, at the Ritz Carlton (4750 Amelia Island Pkwy.). For breakfast, you should hit Bright Mornings (105 South 3rd Street).

Behind the plantation, be treated to gorgeous views of the Amelia Island coastline. Noted for over 10 miles of beautiful beaches, superb boating recreation, and pristine swimming waters, this timeless barrier island is a top-10 rated Florida Destination Getaway. Come for a visit!

This is a unique Florida Getaway, situated in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere on the Ocean. The resort is such a delightful place for an early morning breakfast and then a long stroll down the beach. Early risers will be treated to the beauty of an Atlantic Ocean Sunrise!

Oh yeah, it is time to take a dip in one of the various sparkling swimming pools. We like to hit the pool after playing around in the Ocean. At the Beach Club, you do not even have to bring a towel, as the hotel pool service is excellent.

Great Pools
We love the area and try to stay for a week each summer when the rates are low. The key is having great pools like the Ritz.

Days Inn & Suites
Super area for weekend getaways. Love the beach bars. We stayed at the Days Inn & Suites, which was nice. The Days Inn pool was awesome.
