Play in the beach sand or walk for miles and miles up Naples Beach. From small kids to your great grandparents, anyone that loves the water will be very satisfied. This is Collier County, where one can play beach volleyball or golf during the day and later hit Fifth Avenue South for fine dining and shopping.

Just look at this beach scene. See the beach sand? It is just so white and just what a family coming to Southwest Florida for a beach vacation is looking for. The Naples City Government proudly displays that the average temperature in Naples is 75 degrees. You cannot miss it in their annual marketing campaign.

The reason you find some many Florida Natives fishing here is, you will catch a lot of them! It is so true, and the Naples city government is now considering building an additional pier down the coast. Fishing is a very popular activity with both the international visitors and Florida residents alike.

You can join the local professional beach volleyball league, and it is free. Just head over to the courts and say, I got next! That is it, and you are going to be an official member of the Naples Professional Beach Volleyball Tour. What a beautiful spot for a volleyball game.

A Naples beach day can be so relaxing. So why not come back later for sunset. The place to see it is at the Tiki Bar at the La Playa Beach and Golf Resort (239-598-5707). This special Tiki Bar offers an unbelievable views and light gourmet fare. Hit 9891 Gulf Shore Drive, to enjoy the sunset and sip on a Pina Colada at the same time!

Just off the beach is the cutest beach town in the world. Naples is special, and the high ratings the town receives can attest to that. This is a downtown area that can take a good week to explore it fully. The area offers so much. To Do: Naples Zoo, Fifth Avenue South, Everglade Airboat Ride, and take a Fishing Charter.

Oh yes, one of my favorite Naples things to do on the beach is the giant fishing pier. This is great Florida outdoor fun, and you will always see something new. People here are friendly and easy to talk to. We met a few people that live close by neighborhoods of Pelican Bay and Port Royal, but also visitors from the UK and Italy.

Why not venture around and checkout each of the main beach zones in the area. You will find that all of the beaches are unique with special qualities. The most popular Naples Florida Beaches includes: Lowdermilk Park, Delnor Wiggins Pass Beach, Clam Pass Park, Lely Barefoot Beach, and Vanderbilt Beach.

Here they come and there they go! I like the variety of people you see around. Kids laughing, jumping...quick, look over there. We take every opportunity to enjoy the pier and beach scene. Typically, we come out to watch an evening sunset, catch up on some reading, or to take a long leisurely walk.
