The food at Epcot is outstanding so do not miss the unique Norway foods and the China Showcase for wonton soup. It is the best place for dining In Orlando, kind of like the ultimate Food Court! We are huge Disney fans and have spent mega time wandering the promenade around the World Showcase lake lagoon.
Our favorites for the food are Norway, Germany, Canada, and United Kingdom for the fried fish and Beer. The people working in each area are from the home land for all participating nations. You want to take your time and taste a little at all of the pavilions, which means it takes more than a few trips. It takes time to try it all, and the annual pass helps with that.
Make sure you bring your best Walking shoes for this day. It's surprising how much you actually move around, maybe ten miles in one day? I really am not sure how far we walked but it was excellent because you really don't think about it. Everything is so active and vibrant, the day goes quickly.
The best part about Epcot as you really not waiting in lines much at all and we use the fastpass for the Mission to Mars and Test Track. When you get hungry there is no problem at all, the food here is outstanding and that really helps make it special.
